Remembrance Day, Sunday, Nov. 11

We will be performing at 5 legions in the Sudbury area. Our schedule is as follows:

- Falconbridge Legion for 10:00am,
- services start at 11:00am and should take approx 1 hour.
- 12:00 light lunch and bev.
- 12:45 tune up and performance
- 13:30 Bus to Minnow Lake Legion

- 14:00 Minnow Lake Legion tune up
- 14:15 performance and bev
- 15:30 bus to Polish Hall

- 16:00 Polish Hall tune up downstairs
- 16:15 performance and bev
- 17:30 bus to Copper Cliff

- 17:45 Copper Cliff Legion tune up upstairs
- 18:00 performance and bev
- 18:45 bus to Lockerby

- 19:15 Lockerby Legion
- 19:30 performance and bev

These times are an approx. time and hopefully we can keep the schedule but it is possible things may get pushed back a bit. We hope to see you there!

Providence Bay Fair

The band has been invited to lead the Providence Bay Fair on August 18th. The Parade marches off at 11:00am, (location to be announced). As usual we will be there by 10:00am the latest for tuning and formation.

Jewel of the Wilderness Parade

The band has been invited to perform in the Jewel of the Wilderness Parade in Elliot Lake. It is being held on the 30th June at 1 p.m. departing from the Lester B. Pearson Civic Centre on Highway 108. The band is to show up no later than 12:00 noon for tuning and forming up.

Decoration Day on Manitoulin Island

The band has been invited to play for Decoration Day on June 03rd, 2007. We will be forming up at the Manitoulin District Cenotaph at 12:45 and march off will be at 13:00. A light lunch will be served at the Gore Bay Legion following the service. We will also do a small performance at the legion as well.

Haweater

The band will be performing in the Haweater parade on August 5th. The parade marches off at 12:00 noon from the Arena on Hwy 6 in Little Current.
I would like to see the band there no later than 11:00am for tuning and formation.

Chelmsford Western Days

We have been invited to play at the Chelmsford Western Days Parade June 23rd/2007. The parade marches off at 10:00 am the band is to be at the Chelmsford High School no later than 9:00 am for tuning.

Spud Fest

We have been invited by the Irish Heritage Club and the Board of Directors or Isles Of Innisfree to open the festivities. They would like the band and especially the Dancers to perform. The Spud Fest takes place on May 26th, 2007 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Isle of Innisfree housing on Copper St. in Sudbury.

We will be performing at Peddler's Pub at 6:00PM, The 1500 Pub at 9:00PM, and finishing the night at Grumbler's around 10:00PM. We hope to see you there!

November 11th Remembrance Day Services

The band will take part in the Remembrance Day Services at Falconbridge Legion on Saturday November 11th. There will be a band performance shortly after the ceremony.

The band will spend the day travelling to various Legions to perform. Details and Schedule to follow.

Chelmsford Legion Remembrance Day Ceremony

We will once again take part in the Chelmsford Legion Remembrance Day Ceremonies on Saturday November 4th at 1:00pm. There will be a parade, a ceremony, and a short performance by the band and dancers will follow!

Celtfest Callander 2006

Members of the band competed as a group and took second place on Saturday at Celtfest in Callander.

Several solo competitors received medals for their efforts!
